We often marvel at nature around us and some of the different things that it is able to accomplish. In some cases, it may be the beauty of something that we see in front of us but as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is estimated that trees have been a part of this planet for almost 370 million years. It is amazing when you stop to think about their longevity, not only as a whole but also in the fact that some trees are able to live for thousands of years. In fact, you often find trees in some of the most inhospitable places on the planet and they continue to grow and thrive, regardless of the unusual conditions around them.
Some trees find themselves in a rocky environment and it seems as if there is no possible way that life could exist in the area. You also find trees in extremely windy environments, and those trees continue to exist and even to thrive, regardless of where they happen to live. This is because trees don’t know the meaning of the word quit. That’s right, in the 3 trillion trees that exist in the earth and cover approximately 30% of the land, there is not one that will roll over and die because they gave up.
