Dawn French Shocks Fans When She Posts New Weight Loss Photo

Most of us are quite familiar with Dawn French and we may have been following her for many years. The majority of us remember her when she was part of a comedy team, such as all of the times that we laughed at her and Jennifer Saunders together. We also enjoyed the times when she played her part on the Vicar of Dibley as well.

Through it all, we appreciated Dawn French for her personality and what she gave to us in the way of laughter. We also recognized the fact that she often struggled during those times with her weight. Sometimes she would lose weight and at other times she would gain it but through it all, she was able to maintain the personality that kept us laughing. That is why it is so lovely to see this picture of her today.

Dawn French may be a 59-year-old comedian, but she is also quite beautiful, both on the inside and out. In this picture that she recently posted on twitter, she is smiling from ear to ear and a colorful outfit that really showed more than the beauty of what she was wearing. It also showed the fact that she has recently lost 50 kg, and she looks absolutely stunning as a result of it!

It is easy to see why many people are so thrilled with the way the comedienne looked. In fact, it wasn’t long after the picture was posted on twitter that many compliments came pouring in from her adoring fans. They referred to her as “looking awesome” or “far too gorgeous.” Although that may be true, and we certainly do appreciate the fact that she lost weight, we also recognize that she has always been a beautiful lady.

The weight loss actually began in 2014. Some people speculated that it may have been as a result of her marriage coming to an end but she stated that it was due to the fact that she had to lose weight to undergo a hysterectomy.

In A Statement to the Audience at Her 30 Million Minutes tour, “When I was due to have my hysterectomy the doc told me that if I could lose some weight before the op, they would be able to do it via keyhole, and I would recover in three weeks or so.

“Otherwise it would be big open surgery, and three months to recover. So, I set about dropping a few stone.

“No magic wand, just tiny, joyless lo-cal eating and lots more walking for weeks and weeks. It was grim. I lost seven-and-a-half stone (48kg). I could have the keyhole surgery. Great. That’s all it was, practical.”

Dawn has never been one to be quiet about her changing shape. In fact, she revealed to Women’s magazine that she has had a great fondness for “that other body” and the fact that she doesn’t quite know her new body just yet.
