It wasn’t all that many years ago that we needed to be face-to-face or perhaps actually send a printed picture through the Postal Service in order to share a memory with someone. Today, we simply snap the photo with our smartphone and within a minute or two, we have it uploaded to Facebook along with a comment.
Many of us do this regularly and we love looking through the pictures that other people post as well. There are times, however, when we may post a picture Facebook and it seems as if it takes on a life of its own. It is known as going viral, and many of them that go viral today do so for a very specific reason. Amy Palmer was about to find out that fact for herself and her picture is going viral for the best reason of all.
The picture that Amy posted was of her husband, which is not unusual in and of itself. Her husband had fallen asleep but when you step back and look at the bigger picture, it is where he fell asleep that really matters. As it turns out, the baby boy in the crib was in the hospital and after this hard-working man had been on shift all night, he ended up at the hospital, sleeping underneath the crib to be close to his baby boy. I don’t know about you, but I think that he should be up for a father of the year award.
When we see pictures like this, it really warms our heart. It is a great example of somebody who is taking care of their family and doing it in the best way they know how. Fortunately, she was able to share the picture of her husband and we all get the opportunity to enjoy what he did.

This is truly a beautiful moment. His simple gesture speaks volumes and shows he is truly a loving father.
