If there is one thing that we know about fashion trends, it is the fact that they come and go quite frequently. In fact, it is sometimes difficult to keep up with the latest and if you don’t change quickly, you will find yourself on the fringe of what is in. This isn’t only true today, it has been the case for many years.
Sometimes, we may see a current trend and think that it is the first time it showed up on the scene. Often, that is when our mother tells us that she was wearing the same thing back when she was your age. It is funny how fashion trends tend to come around every 20 years or so and it happens more often than you might realize. Sometimes, however, a trend is very popular and then it disappears, never to be seen again.
That is the case with a fashion trend for women that was popular back in the 1940s and 1950s. It is the bullet bra and they were all the rage, thanks to the “sweater girls” of the ear. Those girls were typically Hollywood actresses and they wore tight fitting sweaters over bras that were cone or bullet shaped. This is a trend that really was on the cutting edge and both men and women seemed to accept it with open arms. After a while, the trend seemed to die out and, unlike other fashion trends, it never really came back into style again.
