5-Year-Old Girl Is Kidnapped From Her Yard. 15 Minutes Later, These 3 Words Save Her Life

As a parent, we all want what is best for our children and we certainly want to make sure that they are as safe as possible. We teach them about the real danger that exists from strangers and how to avoid that danger. Although we may talk to them many times about the subject, it is unfortunate that their innocence sometimes puts them in a dangerous situation.

Jocelyn Rojas is a five-year-old girl who was abducted from the front yard of her grandmother’s home. A stranger was in the area and was able to lure the little girl into his vehicle, promising her that she could get ice cream. When she was close enough to the vehicle, he grabbed her by the neck and threw her inside.

As you can imagine, the entire neighborhood was up in arms and it wasn’t long before streets were blocked off and a search party was formed. There were even search dogs brought in by the police department to help search for this little girl on a block by block basis. Little did they know that there were two young men who were able to do something quite brave and save the young girl’s life. In fact, they took it upon themselves to jump on their bikes and go look for the little girl themselves.

These two boys, Temar and Chris, were only 15 years old and they weren’t looking for this type of adventure, but they were up for the challenge. They were about half a mile away from the home when they saw a maroon sedan, which was identified as the same vehicle used for the kidnapping. The driver was acting quite suspicious as well.

“Every time we’d go down the street, he’d turn back around, and then…we’ll follow him,” said Temar.

These young men chased the car for 15 minutes, determined to find out if the little girl was inside.

Temar actually pulled right up to the kidnapper in the car and immediately thought that he could be the person that everyone was looking for. He then mustered up all the courage that he could gather together, looked him straight in the eye and said 3 words, “I see you.”

That is when something amazing happened that can only be described as a miracle. The man left the little girl go.

Nobody is sure if the kidnapper gave her up because he was being followed by the boys are not but it really doesn’t matter. The little girl was safe and her friends and family can’t thank these young men enough.

Thanks to a description given to the police by the two young boys, the kidnapper was caught by the police the very next day. Everyone is thankful that they were able to bring Jocelyn home again, as you can imagine.
