A Woman Grabs A 2-Year-Old Boy But His 8-Year-Old Brother Beats Her until She Lets Go

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of the word, hero? Most people will likely envision a first responder, such as a policeman, fireman or paramedic. They may even think about a comic book superhero, one who flies around the city and fights crime. As it turns out, heroes walk among us, including this eight-year-old child.

Thanks to an eight-year-old boy, a young child is safe at home today. It was his two-year-old brother and the actions of his older brother truly saved his life. A woman who pretended to be a kind stranger suddenly turned out to be a maniac who was only interested in kidnapping the little boy. As they were at a bus stop with their mother, a woman came up and said, “you have a beautiful kid.”

At that point, the woman tried to get the young child out of his mother’s hands. She began hitting the mother and pulling at the toddler but his older brother had something in mind. That is when he jumped forward, began punching the woman and yelling at her to “let my brother go!” The woman ended up running and the mother called 911. When the police arrived, the older child stated: “We were fighting her off with all our might. We were guarding my little brother so she couldn’t take him.”

The boy then gave a description of the gray car that the kidnapper was driving. He said that her voice was like a girl but she looked like a man. Thanks to that description, the police were led to the suspect and they were able to make an arrest of the 52-year-old woman.

According to police, it was her second kidnapping attempt of the day as she had tried only 20 minutes earlier. She has been charged with two counts of attempted kidnapping and thanks to the heroic efforts of one big brother, a little brother is safe today.
