This Six-Year-Old Reviews Toys On YouTube And Makes $11 Million per Year

There are times when many of us have one of those ideas that just makes us smack ourselves in the forehead and wish we had thought of it first. This is especially going to be the case, however, when you see this child. For those of us who have children, we know just how much they enjoyed trying out the newest toy, gadget or other item that they can get their hands on. As it turns out, there may just be some money in it.

The little boy in this video may only be six years old, but he is raking in the money more than many of us could ever imagine. In fact, it is thought that he makes up to $11 million per year and he does it by doing what children do best, by reviewing toys and having a lot of fun playing with them.

If you’re a parent, you are probably already aware of Ryan’s Toy Review, and it is a YouTube channel that is extremely popular. In fact, many children watch this particular channel on a regular basis, not because they are trying to make a purchasing decision but because they love seeing the toys that he is playing with. Most parents have become painfully aware of this channel but it does keep children occupied.

Ryan was only three years old when he got his start and his parents seem to be very good at keeping his privacy protected, even though his channel is viewed billions of times. In fact, it receives almost 20 million views every day and that is absolutely phenomenal.

Those statistics come from last year!

Ryan is a well-known name but it also happens to be the last name as well. The parents went with something that he loved and they weren’t necessarily after the fame.

YouTube interviewrf the family and got some information about what made them start this venture.

“Ryan was watching a lot of toy review channels – some of his favorites are EvanTubeHD and Hulyan Maya – because they used to make a lot of videos about Thomas The Tank Engine, and Ryan was super into Thomas,” Ryan’s mom said. “One day, he asked me, ‘How come I’m not on YouTube when all the other kids are?’ So we just decided – yeah, we can do that. Then, we took him to the store to get his very first toy – I think it was a Lego train set – and it all started from there.”

The videos were originally uploaded so that the family outside of the United States can also see what he was doing. He says that it’s great for family bonding and to spend time together.

Now that the channel is popular, the mother was able to leave her job as a chemistry teacher to work full-time on the YouTube channel. It isn’t clear if the father, who is a structural engineer, is still working.

The toys are purchased by the family and then they are featured in the videos. Ryan goes to the store and he chooses any toy he wants and that is how they are able to make their very popular videos.

One of the questions they are often asked is what do they do with the toys.
