Bride Cries While Dancing With A Cop, Then They See The Back Of Her Dress

The wedding day is one of the most exciting of our life, and it is one that we may plan for in advance for many months. Once it happens, we treasure every moment and it is something that we may remember for the rest of our life.

At times, however, not everything goes as planned and there may be times when there is a little sadness mixed in with the joy of the occasion. That is the case for Kristen, who is like many other brides and was excited about her wedding day. It was bittersweet, however, because her father was killed in the line of duty. He was Deputy Walter “Kent” Mundell, Jr. He was working for the Sheriff’s Department when he was killed. Many people, including Kristen, were wondering who would take his place during the ceremony as it had been six years since he died. That is when the other law enforcement officers stepped up to the plate.

Police Det. Don Jones, from Seattle, took the lead in walking Kristin down the isle. Other deputies from the sheriff department took turns dancing with Kristin during the reception. Every time that the partner changed on the dance floor, there was new emotion that was experienced. It is something that is certain to touch your heart, and as you look down through the pictures, you will realize exactly how special all of this was to this young bride.

After the wedding, the photos were shared on Facebook and they took on a life of their own. After you see the touching events that took place on that day, it will be completely clear why these pictures have gone viral.

A bride name Kristin was preparing to be married. Her father, Sheriff Deputy Mundell, had died six years earlier in the line of duty. She would not have her father there to walk her down the aisle or dance with her at the reception.

A silent tribute to her father started the ceremony. They even put an empty chair down front in his memory.

She was walked down the aisle by another police deputy, Don Jones. He wasn’t the only one who came out to honour that fallen hero.

3 different deputies took turns dancing with her during the traditional father-daughter dance. It was obvious that Kristen was quite moved.

With each new partner, there were more memories, more tears.

They provided the comfort that she needed on that special day by standing in for her father.

Angela Lyons was there to capture these images and people are going nuts on Facebook over them.

Kristen had a traditional wedding dress with blue ribbons and a tribute to her father on her shoulder.
