There are many ways to get from point A to point B but for many of us, it is difficult to beat the convenience of flying. It is fast and easy and before you know it, you are getting of the plane at your destination. It is a scenario that is played out over and over again around the world every day.
When we get on the plane, we are usually asked to stow our belongings in the overhead compartments or under the seat in front of us. We then have to put on our seat belts and put our tray tables in the upright position. At that point, it is just a matter of waiting for the plane to take off. We all know the drill.
From time to time, there is something unexpected that happens, and that is the case with one particular United Airlines flight. They are making headlines lately for what happened and the internet is in quite an uproar. When they over booked a flight, they asked for volunteers to leave the plane but when none were forthcoming, they forcibly removed one of the passengers after roughing him up and dragging him down the aisle. Fortunately, there were some people who were fast enough to catch it on video and now, those videos are circulating online. It has resulted in outrage, but there are some funny things that came out of it as well.
As you will see in the following tweets, humor is alive and well on Twitter. These people are coming up with new slogans for United Airlines now that the video is out there. In my opinion, they are great but I doubt that United is going to adopt any of them.
