If there is one thing that technology has changed about society, it is the way that we communicate. Many of us who have enough years behind us can remember a time when we would talk face to fact or, at the very most, we would talk on the phone. Most of us, however, preferred the intimacy of having a real conversation when we were together.
In recent years, there have been some significant changes in the way we communicate. We tend to talk in text messages and through social media and it seems as if the art of conversation is quickly becoming a lost art. Of course, we can’t deny the convenience that technology has provided to us and in some cases, it has allowed us to rekindle old friendships and keep in touch with people who are far away from us.
Out of all of those who tend to use technology to communicate, it seems to be the younger generation who have grabbed hold of it with both hands. That doesn’t mean, however, that the older folks don’t try to jump in as well. Since they are doing something that is new to them, they often end up in a rather unusual situation, and the results can be quite funny.
