If there’s one thing that the Internet has brought to us, it’s an extraordinary amount of talent. In fact, most of us refer to the time we are living as the ‘information age’ but it could just as easily be referred to as the ‘age of talent’. After all, it only takes a moment for a YouTube video to be uploaded and if they have any talent at all, it is spread across the Internet and before you know it, it goes viral.
Although we have seen many talented individuals online, there are some who simply stand out above the rest. That is the case with Capri, a young girl who is quite talented. She begins her video by singing an Elvis Presley’s classic and it is an amazing entry into this unique mashup. She is also joined by her older brother, Kenny, who sings beautifully along with her. As they perform this blend of songs, both with their voices and with some sound equipment, they show that creativity and talent often go hand-in-hand.
Capri starts out by using her sweet, soft voice and Kenny is playing the song on the keyboard. They make a seamless conversion from one song to another and Kenny joins in by singing the words, “But I can’t help falling in love with you.” Capri starts things off by singing “Wise men say only fools rush in.” By this point, you have the song in your mind and you realize that you are seeing something truly epic.
Perhaps the most beautiful part about this mashup is the fact that they transform from one song to another so seamlessly. It is sometimes even difficult to tell where one song ends and the next one begins. It just keeps getting more and more beautiful.
If this one video is any indication, this brother and sister duet is headed for much greater things. They started by singing these classic songs and before long, we will see them more and more often.
