Newborn Preemie Gives A Final Goodbye Hug To Her Dying Twin Sister

One of the most exciting events in our life is when we have children. We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming them into our lives and we know that we will never be the same from that moment forward.

That doesn’t mean, however, that problems don’t occur and at times, there are issues that are unspeakable that can happen. That is what took place with Amy when she had her two little baby girls who were born in only 26 weeks and five days.

After having the children, they took some pictures and one of those pictures is going viral online. It is a picture of one of the baby twins hugging her little sister as she was dying. Unfortunately, the mother was holding them for the first time and one of the last times.

Little Charlotte is hugging her sister, Esme after the birth took place. The nurses had placed them on the mother’s chest and told the 30-year-old mother how much the babies love each other.

That moment, Amy admits that everything felt so right as the little girl snuggled in his arms. Within a few days, Esme would pass away.

Esme had struggled for seven weeks in isolation to survive, but there was so much fluid in the ventricles of her brain that she could not have any quality of life. It was a very difficult decision for Amy and her husband, Conor, but they had to switch off the life-support.

Before they did so, the nurses gave them a memory that they wouldn’t forget. They were able to snap an emotional photo that showed the embrace of these two sisters.
