The Italian artist Johannes Stoetter is based out of Italy’s Alps of South Tyrol. He has been painting human bodies since he first discovered that he possessed a passion for creating this type of art in the year 2000. After he made that discovery, he decided to make human body painting his career nine years later. Stoetter uses the human body as the canvas for his art and his first-ever real job as an artist was to create a cover for a friend’s CD. These days, he still creates art for albums for friends and others, but he’s come up quite a bit in the world. Now, Stoetter creates optical illusions that make it almost impossible to tell that his artwork is made up of human bodies.
