Something I never used to do was personality tests. However, when I married my wife, she got me into doing various types of tests. We’ve done the Love Languages, the Enneagram Personality Test, the Big 5, True Colors, Meyers Briggs, and several others. These tests all have something in common in that they ask you a lot of questions. Your answers are sorted by their algorithms and you’re assigned a personality type. There’s no right or wrong type. The point is that we’re all different and it takes all kinds to make up the world. One of my favorite ways to take a personality test is with a simple visual image.
Although the more complex tests can be a lot of fun and give you a lot of insight, the fact is, sometimes simplicity can go a long way, too. For example, in the image below, whatever you see first may reveal your personality.
The Cat
If you see the cat first, you’re a positive thinker and you refuse to just be a realist. Anything is possible and that’s how you live your life. You even indulge in your dreams when you want to, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
The Mouse
If you saw the mouse first, it may be hard for you to sit still. You enjoy being constantly nourished and you thrive when you take a good calculated risk. You may sometimes act too quickly, but it’s easy for you to admit your mistakes.
The Woman
People who saw the woman first are creative individuals who use their imagination a lot. You’re not a person from the crowd. You’re the one who gets followed by others.
