What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of dancing? We have all been exposed to more and more different types of dancing thanks to television shows, such as Dancing with the Stars. We may even have our own particular favorite style of dance but sometimes, dance isn’t about doing the tango or having something perfectly choreographed, it’s about having fun and enjoying life. That is what makes this video so special and it is going viral online.
It starts out when a grandfather and his two young daughters are strolling down the sidewalk. It’s not fully know where this video was taken, but it seems as if it may have been in China. Regardless of whether it was shot in China or in your backyard, however, you will have to admit that is one of the most adorable things that you have seen in a very long time. They dance in unison and it is wonderful.
Perhaps you have seen videos about flash mobs and they can be a lot of fun as well. Flash mobs occur when a group of people get together and they surprise everyone with a choreographed dance. They tend to have everything down to the last step planned in advance and they come out of nowhere. This family, however, doesn’t seem to have everything choreographed but that doesn’t stop them from dancing together perfectly. In fact, you can watch the little girls watching their grandfather for some instructions on their next move!
The family unit is something that is so special to many of us. We look to it for comfort and to help us to get from day-to-day when times are tough. Many of us remember spending time with our grandparents when we were young children and those were always very special times. It seems as if his grandfather is developing some special times of his own with his young granddaughters.
From the moment that they start dancing, it’s obvious that they have done this together in the past. They may not have practiced the dance out perfectly but they have spent a lot of time together and it is absolutely amazing to see how they work together in unison.
It doesn’t matter what the grandfather does, the children follow along step-by-step. When he turns to the right, they turn to the right and when he faces forward, they face forward. It is obvious that there is a lot of closeness with this family and we all hope that it continues to be that way for a very long time.
Something else that is rather interesting is the fact that somebody had the forethought to grab their camera and begin taking a video right away. Imagine if this had happened in an area where nobody took a video. It still would’ve been amazing but the Internet wouldn’t have been part of it all. Fortunately, we get to see this, every step of the way.
Dancing has been a matter of tradition for millennia. In some parts of the world, it is still practiced as a way to show that you are happy and people will begin dancing, even if there is not music available. It’s also interesting to watch little children who are just learning how to walk. Many of them will start dancing immediately if you put a song on in the background. It seems as if dancing is something that is inborn into us.
It is also well-known that dancing produces many physical and mental benefits. Of course, those of us who dance on a regular basis already recognize exactly how important it is to continue to dance. Regardless of whether this out on the dance floor or if it is on the sidewalk in a busy city, dancing produces something in us that is special.
